fun, fun, fun
I had an absolute blast during my two-night stay! The heated swimming pool was a huge hit for my daughter, and the kitchenette allowed us to whip up some quick meals. Plus, the cute receptionist was always there to help out.

interior colours, cushions, linen etc looked inviting & restful. All was very clean and light.
The fridge should have been on as we were expected & it is summer.had to ask for a extra bed cover as there was none in unit. Also deluxe studio was much smaller then appeared in online photos.

This is what stood out
A perfect spot for weary travelers, with warm, basic rooms that deliver on comfort, despite the busy street outside. The spa offers a relaxing soak, complete with steam rising nearby, a unique touch! The friendly owner was accommodating was good.

I found the staff of Rotorua Motel excellent & fair to deal with. I had problems with my booking which they dealt with efficiently & in friendly manner. They did everything they said they would do when they said they would. Would use again without hesitation.

It is the worst place we have been in New Zealand, and not only there. The pictures put in internet are really misleading. We had a dirty room with poor and old fornitures and with disgusting kitchen and bathroom. The public toilets are better.

Our time at this motel was enjoyable, especially with the massive comfy bed and the little kitchenette that came in handy for snacks. The heated swimming pool and relaxing spa added a nice touch to our stay. Just a heads-up, the lighting in the room could use some improvement, but overall, it was a good experience! 🌟

Quiet and excellent place, awesome staff with our arrangements for our group. Location just off also grocery / supermarket such as Count Down, supermarkets and service stations, and Rotorua for a relatives wedding. Also, in kitchen everything you need for self-supply.
Uninviting area.

The room was surprisingly large and comfy with a cozy bed. The kitchenette was a nice touch, though I didn't use it much during my short stay. It did have some wear, like dated curtains and a bit of dust in the corners. Cleanliness was good in the bedroom and bathroom, but the noise from the road was somewhat bothersome.

Convenient location near lake, restaurants, supermarket and shopping centre.
1) The stinky smell of sulphur coming out of geothermal spa chimney at the back of motel. Don't keep your windows open! 2) The sticky floor in the kitchen and the bathroom. Not the cleanest motel I have seen in NZ

It was just a proper fit for a brief retreat in Rotorua with extraordinarily good value for money. The room was spacious and equipped with a functional kitchen, made it easy to prepare meals. Pack some extra light bulbs or a good lamp because the room can be quite dark.

Clean and tidy. Excellent staff.
In my unit - the stove nor the grill worked, neither did two of the four hot-plates. Quite limiting for cooking when you are staying over a period of time.
